CapexPRO Version 2.0 Release Coincides with Victorian Major Projects Conference 2010

The release of CapexPRO version 2.0 coincides with The 2010 Victorian Major Projects Conference held at The Crown Conference Centre on the 23rd and 24th of August 2010. The two-day event will focus on significant investments continued to be made by the government into major projects that are currently being worked on as well as projects that are in the pipeline.

CapexPRO is excited to be a sponsor of this high calibre event and are marking this occasion as the official launch of CapexPRO Version 2.0. The fully customisable cloud-based product specialises in capital planning and program management and is rolling out its enhanced version complete with a fully scalable platform, internal blogs, real-time dashboards and more powerful auditing trails, making it the most valuable tool for any organisation to manage an entire capital works program.

With the expected increase in private infrastructure spending in Victoria in 2011 there has never been more of a need for businesses to manage their capital spending as efficiently and as responsibly as possible.

CapexPRO dramatically improves the capability of an organisation to manage large, complex programs and the resulting efficiencies which are, improved utilisation of capital, labour savings government compliance and strategic approach results in significant cost savings across the capital program.

Taking advantage of the extensive and relevant consulting experience, existing user base and developed client network that has been established by Ian Kremmer, specialist capital works project and program management consultant, CapexPRO is being referred to as a new breed of program management software that leverages off the rapid trend towards computing.

Explaining the motivation and level of intelligence behind CapexPRO, Kremmer says, "I have seen for years, businesses duplicating their data and processing everything manually taking days and sometimes weeks to collate a report. It is quite simply about finding the easiest and most efficient way to collect good quality data and automate processes to produce reports that work to help organisations optimise their processes."

"We developed CapexPRO because we knew there was a strong need for a fully integrated system that could be as flexible as it is reliable and existing products in the market did not adequately address the need for data reliability, predictability of performance and for multiple projects or programs."

Kremmer continues "We are extremely proud of the sophistication, customisation and speed that we have created using state-of-the-art web-based technology, without compromising a user friendly interface or world-class security. It couldn‟t be a better time for us to roll this improved version out and are looking forward to introducing it to delegates at the upcoming conference."
